The Founder Feature Series for the 5th Cohort of The Mentor Network keeps up its momentum! In this series, we chat with our founders to learn more about them as individuals, as well as their entrepreneurial journeys. They have some great wisdom and experience to share with the rest of the community!
Today we’re diving in with Luke Wade, Founder of KC Crew and League Ally! KC Crew is a recreational sports league and special events company and its main goal is to bring awesome, organized recreational leagues and unique special events to the downtown/midtown area. League Ally is an automated software that was born out of this concept, which allows anyone to create a league and run it efficiently, while allowing participants to easily sign up and play in leagues. As a Disabled Army Iraq War Veteran, Luke is certainly making his own opportunities! Earlier this year, Luke was featured in the New York Times, was just in the KC Business Journal and KC Crew and the software were chosen to partner with the Foutch Bros new Kemper Arena. He also just completed the Innovation Partnership Program with the City.
